Biography

Luck Razanajaona, who graduated from the École Supérieure des Arts Visuels in Marrakech, was able to develop his film projects through programmes such as the Berlinale Talent Campus and the Rotterdam Lab. His short films have been shown at well-known festivals in Clermont-Ferrand and Toronto and have won prizes at FESPACO and JCC Carthage. In 2021, he founded MADAFILMLAB in Madagascar in collaboration with other collectives from Guadeloupe, Martinique, the Caribbean and Réunion to promote a new generation of filmmakers. His first feature film, DISCO AFRIKA, premiered at the Berlinale 2024.
