Biography

María Román Gómez is a filmmaker convinced of the potential of film to strengthen human rights. After studying communication studies in Colombia and working as a vi deo journalist in Germany, she joined DW Akademie‘s Film Industries team to support media development projects in the Global South. She has been involved in the GENERATION AFRICA project since 2019.
