Biography

Even in her childhood, Marwa’s father called his talkative daughter “The Broken Radio”. She not only presents special formats for rbb such as “Marwas Berlinale” or the live broadcast from the Carnival of Cultures – she also works as a reporter for the cultural format “Stilbruch” and the rbb Abendschau. She even presents the latter in Arabic in a special edition. Marwa is also part of the team of the WDR radio channel COSMO, where she presents the afternoon show. As part of this program, among other things, Marwa set off for Lesbos and visited a refugee camp on site. She also uses her knowledge of Arabic for the bilingual format WDRforyou, the Internet service for refugees.
