Biography

Françoise Ellong was born in 1988 in Douala, Cameroon. After studying information and communication in Paris, she graduated a Master’s degree in cinematography and post production at London’s University of Greenwich in 2006. By 2012, she had made a total of nine short and experimental films as screenwriter and director. Several of them received awards at international festivals, including the short film NEK (2010) that looks at the well-trodden subject of guilt and atonement.
