Biography

Kokutekeleza Musebeni works as a journalist and presenter for Bayerischer Rundfunk, including for Workin' Germany, a BR Instagram format that deals with topics relating to diversity and intersectionality in society and the world of work. She has been studying documentary film at the HFF Munich since 2018. Her last hybrid afrofuturistic film THE DOOR OF RETURN was shown and nominated several times at international Academy Award Qualifying Film Festivals. In 2021 THE DOOR OF RETURN was awarded the German Newcomer Film Award.
