Biography

Ike Nnabue is a director, screenwriter and producer born in Ojoto, Nigeria in 1975. He has made several feature films that have been screened at festivals around the world, including SINK OR SWIM, which deals with the topic of illegal migration. The film won the award for Best Feature Film at the Newark International Film Festival. Ike Nnabue is actively involved in various training programmes supporting young Africans in the film industry. Ike Nnabue is also the founder and creative director of Passion8 Communications, a production company based in Lagos, Nigeria, that produces high-quality media content.
In Cologne, he will present his documentary debut NO U-TURN, which was produced as part of GENERATION AFRICA, a joint project of the South African NGO STEPS supported by DW Akademie (Bonn).
