Biography

Daouda Coulibaly is a young French-Malian director. After studying economics and a few years working on editing for TV, he decided to become a filmmaker. In 2009 he made his first short film, Il était une fois l’indépendance (A HISTORY OF INDEPENDENCE), inspired by an African folk tale.
