Biography

Thelma Buabeng has proven her versatility as an actress for years in cinema, television and on theatre stages. She can be seen in award-winning film productions such as BERLIN ALEXANDERPLATZ and BORGA. After theatre engagements in Bochum, Berlin, Hamburg and Zurich, she is now continuing her collaboration with the Schauspielhaus Zurich. There she can be seen with her own production “Security”, a political comedy in which characters from her YouTube cult series TELL ME NOTHING FROM THE HORSE can be found again. As founder of the Black Womxn Matter community, Thelma Buabeng strengthens female Afro-German perspectives in the media landscape and society.
