Biography

Thierno Souleymane Diallo was born in Guinea. After studying cinema in Dubréka/Guinea, in 2012 he moved to Niamey/Niger to enroll in the Master's program in documentary cinema, graduating with the film "Je viens de la Guinée". Back in Guinea, he made the film "Matricule 60076", both in 13mm. In 2013, he began his second year of the master's program in Saint Louis/Senegal. His graduation film is entitled "Voyage vers l'espoir". In 2015 and 2018, he followed up with two short films ("Un homme pour ma famille" and "Nô Mëtî Sîfâdhe" ("Hard to tell")). Alongside his film career, Souleymane works for Guinean television. AU CIMETIÈRE DE LA PELLICULE is his first long documentary.
