Biography

Born in France in 1991, the actor Yassine Benkhadda has built a career for himself in French theatre, film and televi-sion, gaining wider recognition through his acting roles in LEBOWITZ CONTRE LEBOWITZ (2016) and ART OF CRIME (2017). In addition to this, he’s engaged in a range of crea-tive media positions, for example as a host at festivals or the Tour de France. For the web-based comedy series CLAP, available on the Border Life YouTube channel, he works both behind and in front of the camera as a writer and comedian. His versatility also shows in the film LE CHOIX D’ALI (2019) which we have the pleasure of screening as part of this year’s Africa Film Events Cologne.
