Biography

Gloria Adotevi is a Ghanaian filmmaker and editor pursuing a Master's in Film and Television at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne (KHM). Her short film XOESE has been screened at international festivals including the Ndiva Women’s Film Festival (Ghana) and FestiLag (Côte d’Ivoire), as well as in Ghanaian communities via mobile cinema. Her second film, I LOVE YOU RED, was well received and marked a clear evolution in her artistic voice. As editor of the award-winning documentary FATI'S CHOICE, she contributed to a film that premiered at DOC NYC, screened at DOK Leipzig (nominated for the Leipziger Ring Award), and won Best Feature Film at the Global Migration Film Festival and the Audience Award at Filmfest Eberswalde Provinziale.
