Abstract

The film tells the story of a Professor of Law at Tunis, Khalsaoui Khalil, appointed by the ruling party to represent it in the new League of Human Rights.Its mission is to defend the official positions in a period of tension between the government and the unions. One day, Khalil learns that Houda, one of his students with whom he is having an extramarital affair, has been arrested in the south of the country along with two Italian journalists who came to investigate strikes in the phosphate mines.
