Abstract

Theresa Traoré-Dahlberg grew up in Burkina Faso and Sweden. Centre-stage of her documentary are the hearteningly strong women who, as taxi drivers in the Senegalese capital Dakar, are forced to stand their ground on a daily basis against their chauvinistic competition.
