BADOU BOY, ein schelmischer junger Mann, versucht in den chaotischen Straßen von Dakar einem korrupten Polizeibeamten und seinen Rivalen zu entkommen. Mit einer Verfolgungsjagd durch die Arbeiterviertel bis ins Zentrum von Dakar wirft Djibril Diop Mambéty einen kritischen Blick auf die vom Westen beeinflusste Gesellschaft Dakars in den 1960er-Jahren und rückt die Menschen am Rande dieser Gesellschaft in den Mittelpunkt.
